Ostia Antica

Today was the last day that our Roma Pass was valid so we decided to take the train to Ostia Antica. It’s a much larger place than we expected and full of ruins that make it easy for you to imagine what life would have been like when the place was bustling. It’s hard however to capture the impact of the actual place on film. The structures there go on and on and as you lose yourself along the hidden pathways you never know what you might find. It’s a less visited place than many other Rome attractions with shade and a cool breeze. The train to Ostia Antica was not as peaceful as the place itself. It was however very colorful.
